Your child joins a live one to one video lesson with their tutor over Google Meet. The tutor shares documents, notes and past paper questions on screen throughout the lesson. No extra software or downloads are needed, just a browser and a stable internet connection.
All of our tutors are fully briefed on both AQA and Edexcel specifications for KS3 and KS4. When you book, just let us know your child's exam board and year group so we can match a tutor and tailor resources accordingly.
Every tutor goes through a subject knowledge assessment, a teaching demonstration and a full background and identity check, including an enhanced DBS check, before they are approved to teach. We accept a small percentage of applicants, so families can be confident in who is teaching their child.
Yes. Reschedule or cancel any lesson free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice and it goes back into that month's allowance. Inside 24 hours the lesson counts as taken, because your tutor has already reserved the slot. The plan itself has no minimum term — cancel any time.
We start with a short call to understand your child's current level, target grades and any specific gaps or worries. From there we recommend a tutor and a monthly plan, and your child's first lesson includes an informal assessment so the tutor can build a personalised plan.
Yes. Parents receive a written report after every lesson covering what was studied, how their child handled it, what has been set for homework and what to focus on next.
We work exclusively with KS3 and KS4 students, from Year 7 through to Year 11, across Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and History.
The right fit matters, so if your child is not comfortable with their tutor we will happily match them with someone new at no extra cost. Just let your parent liaison know and we will arrange it straight away.
Every lesson is 60 minutes and always one tutor to one student. We do not run group sessions, so the whole hour is spent on your child, at your child's pace.
You choose a plan based on how many lessons a month your child needs — 4, 8 or 12. It is billed monthly by card through Stripe and renews automatically until you cancel. You can move between plans at any time, and the change takes effect from your next billing date.
No. Your lessons are for the month you are billed for, because progress comes from consistency rather than lessons saved up for later, and your tutor holds that time in their timetable either way. We will always remind you before the month ends if you have lessons left — and if we cannot offer you reasonable times to use one, we carry it over.
Email us and we will action it. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee. Cancelling stops future payments — you keep the lessons in the month you have already paid for. If your child needs more or fewer lessons, you can move plans instead of cancelling.
Book a free consultation. We will talk through where your child is now, what is getting in the way and what we would recommend — with no obligation to book lessons.
